There are many different fiedls that I can pick networking, software engineer, web development, IT security. However, i feel like the IT security is the worst to pick since it covers a little bit of everything, it doesnt do the deep dive that i feel you need to become a pentester.

Besides, most CS fields share courses.

THe Networking program have a little bit more focus on networking and network security, it still have other courses like linux and programming.

The SE program focus a little bit more on programming and programming secure code. But it still has networking.

etc

So which one should i choose? I understand of course that no program in the world covers everything that I need, and I need to study things by myself as well. But which foundation is good to have?
