Gonna try and keep this pretty short;
Quick background – Under 20, college freshman, A+ Net+ Sec+ Associate of (ISC)2 (yay), some health issues
I passed the CISSP exam a little over a week ago (got a scholarship that paid for a REALLY bad video course, but it included the 8th ed OSG and a voucher), but I’m a little confused on what to do next.
At the moment, I’m trying to figure out if the certs (and membership) can cover some required courses (or at least get a few credits) for an Associates in Cyber, studying for the CySA+ so I can renew my CompTIA certs, and looking for a job. I really want to do the latter and start knocking out some of the required experience (4 yrs left with my Sec+), but I’m not exactly sure what to look for. I would prefer something remote due to my aforementioned health issues, but I’m good with anything as long as it fits into the CISSP requirements.
What would you recommend I do next? Do you think this is a good plan, or is there something else I should do? Is there any position in particular I should be looking for, or should I just stick to entry-level cyber?
