I’m looking for a job as a soc analyst and I’m trying to get my resume up to speed. Would you mind critiquing it and letting me know what you think? Thank you

    Honestly I think it’s solid. Even though you mentioned them throughout, you could add a bulleted list of tools you’re familiar with (maybe tabbed to the right of your ‘?? robotics’ section:

    * Splunk
    * ServiceNow
    * (Powershell\python?)
    * vulnerability tool?
    * (SCCM? or other orchestration tool?)

    Also under Education & Certifications, place the two may 2022 dates beside each other so it’s chronological

    My personal observations, i’ve interviewed about 30 security engineers in the last 6 months to know where im coming from.

    I really like that you have a github linked, when people have labs or projects is goes a long ways. We all want passionate people in security and it demonstrates that. You might add a section to highlight some of your skills/experiences. Know linux? mention it. set up some firewalls before? let them know. All of that little stuff puts you ahead of other candidates just be sure not to say you are a god level unix guru if you have only used it a couple times. Overall it looks good, concise and not a lot of bs.

    Be advised though, if i see you are working towards OSCP I will grill you a little on some questions relevant to that.
